Overview
The University of Arizona Science & Technology Park (UA Tech Park) encompasses approximately 1,267 acres and has 2 million square feet of developed space for tech offices, R&D, and laboratory facilities. It is adjacent to Interstate 10 between the Rita Road and Kolb Road exits.
A short 15-minute drive from Tucson International Airport, The UA Tech Park is one of the nation's premier research parks - a dynamic, interactive community where emerging companies and technology giants work side by side.
The UA Tech Park is owned by the Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) and Campus Research Corporation (CRC) a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation was established to maintain, develop, operate, market, and lease the park on behalf of the University of Arizona through the unit named Tech Parks Arizona.
The Project at the UA Tech Park encompasses 296 acres of developed space onsite.
To ensure world-class facilities, Jacobs Engineering Group is the designated Contract Operator hired by CRC/Tech Parks Arizona and is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the common area, common services, and central utility systems.
Per CFR 192.616, the Contract Operator is required to implement a written public awareness program that will inform the public and Project Occupants regarding the Master Meter Gas Pipeline System installed at the Project, emergency response, purpose and reliability of the system, an overview of the hazards of the pipeline, prevention measures, damage prevention, how to recognize and respond to a leak, and how to get additional information.
